These are pictures of me at Tent City. This is where the ministry i have been with brings soup and feeds the families here twice a week. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. The kids are so sweet and are always happy to see us. I have a family there i visit often and they are such a joy to be with. Speaking of Joy, thats the mothers name. She and her family are great and they need prayer to keep the supply of food for the little ones 🙂
Also, my team and I had the chance to visit another island in the philippines called Boracay. We went to join the JAZ girls on their famiily vacation. It was so so beautiful and according to those in Manila, Boracay is ranked number one white sand beach in the world. We had such a good time hanging out with all the girls and continuing the bible studies on the incredible island!
On New Years Eve (which was also Tiffany's Birthday) we went around Manila trying to find anything exciting to do to celebrate the night. We heard IYAZ (now while you're thinking, "who is IYAZ?" he's the guy who sings Replay) was preforming at one of the malls. We were hoping just to find a good place to stand but a guy (we really didn't know him, still dont) ran up to us and gave us free VIP passes. Next thing we knew IYAZ invited us on stage and we sang a song with him in front of thousands. It ended up TV the next day and since then we've had people stop us and say they saw us on tv. great way to bring in the new year.
We had the unexplainable opportunity to meet someone who made our monday morning a great amount brighter through our contact here in the philippines. We got to meet a girl who models for Jamba Juice Ad's and she gave us her card to get all the free Jamba we want! So great, who knew they had food?
This is me and my team at a waterfall in Tanay. It took a lot of really uncomfortable traveling to
get to this point but it was worth it. At one point we had to fit 10 people in a trike. It was so worth it and
a great way to spend one of our last off days here in the Philippines. Not only was a immensely blessed to have ministry i had here in the Philippines, I've also a great time doing a bunch of random things that somehow actually happened. Also- check out how much of a baller I look like in the second photo. Free faller.
trike
Mikey is now in the hands of different missionaries ever since we moved into the JAZ home. I haven't seen him since but i have heard he is doing very well.
And last but not least the Manila city sunset. So many good memories tied to this. I watched this view having great conversations, time of worship and prayer. Nothing will beat that.
Props to Ellen Hudson for ths picture, im pretty sure she is th one who took it.
I will always love the Philippines.
